Hey,

I've tried searching for an answer to this but the words I have to use in the query are too generic, "query" "variable" etc.

As the title says, I can't manage to assign the result of a query (query result is a numerical value from using COUNT). Ideally what I'm trying to do is perform math calculations with the numerical results of queries, thus I would need to store them somewhere, somehow.

Thanks in advance, i'll be keeping an eye on this thread to clear up anything i was unclear about.

Have a look at the DLookUp or DCount methods of the Access.Application object.

Hope This Helps, PH.
