Is it possible to assign users to access specific printer?
Is it possible to assign printers to specific groups so only members of that group can use those printers?

Here is all the possibilities that you can do with printers in AIX:

I don't think this is possible unless you use scripting!

You can write a script and force your users to use that script for printing. In that script you need to have a small table (in a file format for example) where you list each printer and the users that can print to this printer.

Thanks for the info. I figured it would require some scripting.
I just thought it was odd that SCO allows you to use the lpadmin command with the allow/deny user option and AIX didn't have an equivalent command.
