Hello how are things

I am upgrading a system for a friend of mine and bought in an Asrock K7vt2 Motherboard a duron 1.3 processor and a Geforce 4 AGP Graphics card everything is working grand except for the graphics card Even on boot up i am getting a distorted screen with randon charactors displayed all over it. I have got the system running with some form of stability using a voodoo 2 8MB AGP but it is still displaying a very distorted screen on boot up I have upgraded the BIOs and fiddled around with the BIOS settings does anyone know of any solutions to this problem or has anyone encountered the same problem

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I have a Asrock K7vt2 with a amd-tbird 1200 Mhz and a Powercolor Powergene Geforce 2 mx.

My monitor image have a very soft interference both in windows(and dos) as in 3d games, but it is running perferctly.

I´ve test a Diamond speedstar A50 AGP video board (sis6326-8mb) and the problem with the bad image dissapears, i´ve also tested my system with a PCI S3 4 mb video card and again there is no problem. I guess this board have some kind compatibility problem. I tried every possible driver for both motherboard and video card(gf2mx), but no results.
Also updated the bios to 1.30 and tried all options but no results for the image problem.
