ASPIRE System Shutting Down Randomly

We have a fairly old NEC Aspire phone system and it's been working fine for years, but recently it's been shutting itself down randomly and then booting right back up. The whole process only takes about 4 minutes, but can happen in the middle of the day so it's not ideal. It isn't really consistent on when it decides to do this. Sometimes it will happen a few times a week and other times it will go a whole two months. I suppose it could be happening at night as well, but since it reboots itself I have really no way to tell.

Does anyone know what might be causing the shutdown/reboots? Or if there is some sort of diagnostic I can run to get to the root of the problem?

Thank you for any suggestions.

I will certainly try that. Thank you. I'll let you know.

Thanks again

I tried plugging the system into a UPS and it worked for a few days, but today again is rebooted itself.
