HI, I want to know how to make a database connection to a database in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 using ASP, I'm running WIndows 2000.
Other question when I try to do the connection with an article I found I get this error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Why this is happen? is some configuration? I'm using Windows Authentication in SQL server, THANKS.

fterrazas,

You have two options to connect to the SQL server, using NT authority or by providing a username and password to the database. This is assigned from the SQL server.

Have you assigned a username and password?
