ASP page will not write to access database

The common microsoft answer for this error (which I will post below) does not apply 4 me - because the IUSER_(machine) account has full right to the folder AND the DB.
The error is only when trying to write to the DB - it reads from it fine.
Here it is:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

change IUSER_(machine) to the local administrator account

I made the IUSER_(locAL MACHINE)a member of the administrators group - but it didn't work

Did you open datbase for editing in MS Access?
If you open it, first close it then try the query.

I DID open it, and I DID close it,
Just to make sure I even restarted the box, just so I know there is no proces holding it.

But it did not help.
