Good Morning Everyone.
Can anyone shed some light to this issue I have been facing. I looked at microsoft kb, but with no success. I tried everything, but still no result.
I inceased the session time-out in IIS as well as in the webconfig files from 20 minutes to 1440.
So basically If you stay in the web applicatio it will time out and you have to close the page and relaunch it for it to work again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Thank you for the reply robertfah.
I meant to say if you would know what could be causing the application to time-out all the time?
I checked the web congif file and increased the time-out to 1440 minutes, but it did not do anything.
I wish you could put me on the right direction to find the source of the problem and eventually resolve it?
Thank you

Hmm....any type of login cookie that is set when the user logs in? It maybe getting set to expire in 1 minute, causing the app to "timeout" frequently.

How can I check this? Where is usually the login cookie is defined? At the application level or on IIS?
In application users have authenticated from a SQL Server Database 2000 and thier roles also are defined.
It captures the userlogin and check it against the database. If it is a valid user then he or she gets access and thier roles is defined. Role ( I mean what pages they have access to).
I have looked at everything, I am still puzzeled.
