Hey, i'm having some issues on a ASP.net application. It won't allow anyone other then admins access the application. In the event logs I get weird messages I don't know how to figure out. I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have any insight to help out?

make sure you have the security set up correctly. you can also allow guest accounts and make sure to give the proper permissions on the folder that this site falls under.

David, thank you for the quick response. I've gone through and opened up permissions as much as possible. The only other thing I can find it tons of DCOM errors. I've gone through and re-did the DCOM security. Now i'm left with a dumb questions, do I have to reboot for the DCOM to take effect? I can force the GPEdit to refresh, but it doesn't appear DCOM is. Let me know, and thank you in advance.

I'm not sure about the DCOM reboot. I believe you do, but I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure what DCOM as to do with .NET. DCOM is for managing COM applications and .NET is not a COM application.

How is it denying access to the users? Is it asking for a windows username and password? Denying Directory Browsing? 404 Error?

It doesn't prompt, it's supposed to do windows integrated authentication. If I put the same users in the admin group on the server it works great. It's only if I put them in any other group and it doesn't work. I've been through a lot of the group policies with no luck. I've been through all the iis settings with no luck. There are other asp pages on the server that seem to work fine. There is only one that's all jacked up. All I can figure is the guy programming, who is on vacation for the month, made changes w/o testing them. Let me know what you think.
