I seem to be caught in a black hole... I can see out but have not made it there yet... I hope the forum members here can help.

I have a hosting reseller account They have been fine to work with up to this point. They provide Chilisoft ASP hosting and I installed from their interface tool. They install it such that it utilizes the rewrite conditions within Apache. For this one site I have a single IP address and 3 additional virtual domains. By deploying this way it is forcing a chain to a linked directory:

(i.e.
I contacted the hosting company and they were not any help at all. So I have gone through all of the Apache and Chilisoft doc.

Here is what I found...

1. I can modify the httpd.conf for the rewriting conditions. Have done so.

2. I can modify the casp.conf for what changes I need. I have done that.

There are two things that I need some help on.

1. The proper setup or an example of a .aspconf file. According to what I see I will need to create one for the primary ip domain and it's 3 virtual domains. They are all running ASP apps. In the doc it says to use but does not give examples. Can someone please provide?

2. Now this really does bug me to no end. They eliminate all of the admin tools for Chilisoft. Anyone know where I could obtain these? I downloaded the 4.1 from Sun but my fear at this point is that it will not work with the older version. It says asp-apache-3000 so I take it as version 3. There is no data store at Sun to download any components of the older version.

Lastly, any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I know I could switch hosting and I more than likely will. When I do however I will have to switch all my clients. I have not done so yet but I fully intend on contacting the owner. The CSR was dumbfounded and the tech response was not any more exciting.

Thank you in advance for all your help. Sincerely, Olin
