ASP Javascript problem

Hi

I have an asp page with a link to a popup window. in the popup window i have one text field and a submit Button.
I want to be able to type a value in click ok and that info will be sent to the parent window and refreshed

How do i do this please

You should have a clearer image about server script(ASP) and client script(JavaScript) first.
