Just curious if anybody out there know of a way to create an ASP login paged that will carry the username and password and authenticate them into an ftp site.

We are trying to setup an ftp site for our customers, and although it is functional, we want to have a web based front end that will make things easier for them.

Thanks,

B

I guess it would depend on the type of ftp server as to if it will accept the login id in the url such as ftp://username:password@sitename.com if so I would just build a form to collect the username and password and use that as variables in a redirect statement.. I know this is not a technical answer but maybe it will give you a start to play with.....

If knowledge were power I would be a AAA battery!
