Will be greatful if anyone can help me.

Regards

I would try Go to software downloads and then BayRS routers and/or software. I'm not sure what is available without a contract. I suspect that documentation will be available, but Fright(Site)Manager and updated code may not.
Also note that the AN/ANH is end-of-life.

Hope this helps

Hi,
i did check in Nortel Site,no documents are available. we are not authorized sellers, we r basically in to HP and Sun solutions. This project includes Sun Servers and Bay Routers.unfortunately i am responsible for handling both. any other source, where in i could buy configuring and adiminstering ASN Routers.
Thanks

Hi, kcckwt

You need service contract to download latest SiteManager and BayRS software from Nortel web site.

Software documenation is for free. You CAN access it without service contract.
Go to:

and select "BayRS Router Software" link NOT "BayRS Routers", there you can find doc files you need.

Hi:

Does anybody knows if the ASN serial console cable (9 pin to 25 pin connectors) has a special pinout? I have been reading cable guide but I do not see it clearly.

Regards,

Diego.

Hi dtabera

Easiest is to use straight DB9F to DB9F cable. You have to use one-to-one connections. Null-Modem cables doesn't work.

Brat

Thanks Brat2:

when you say straight cable and one-to-one connections, you mean pin 1 to ping 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and so on ¿right?:

D.

Hi, dtabera

Exactly one-to-one. Maybe it was not clear in englis - it was strict translation from my native language.

I have a Nortel ARN with only a 8mb flash card. The only thing i can use is the TI commands "which I do not know". What I need to do is change the IP#'s for this box.
Here is a list of some of the things I have found.

Can someont please tell me how to change IP#'s 65.119.123.102 and 67.131.155.97. I think it is the "set command" but I have not yet came across the corrent syntax
I have tried
set ipAddrEntry.ipAdEntAddr.1 10.10.5.10
but this didnt work.
