ASN Password Recovery.

Hi,

I have found all informations about ASN password recovery, I know how to clear this unwanted password, but I don't have no_pwd.exe. Does anyone have it? If yes just let me know, or better contact me: brat@noc.uci.agh.edu.pl.

The image is hard to get hold of a copy.
I think there is a way of clearing the password from diag modus.

On ARN you could do this.

Break the router in POST diag check with ctrl-c and then enter.
diag>>d/l/n 5 410000 0
diag>>boot

if I remember correctly.
Be careful to use the methode above without confirming it, and on other routers than arn, you might corrupt your nvram, and then you probably will end up having to send your router to Nortel for repair.

Please reply here with the diag method if you find it.

Hello katamann, no chance to recover the password by this way on an ASN. The only way is the no_password.exe. Its hard to find this file. Regarding You can only get it from the NN support. Regarding to security issues they wont give it to anyone without any important reason.
