ASM's & MICS R1T1 software

Has anyone had any firsthand experience with ASM's and R1T1 software? The compatability chart says that they will work with R1T1 but so far unable to get dialtone, only battery from the ASM ports, and the system will not recognize the ASM as such. It sees a trunk module, and no option to change to STN MOD, ASM, or DATA MOD.
Appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

what port is it on off of exp card...if you have a working stat module try swapping it with asm

Thoughts;
What about station programming? Are they assigned two intercom paths?
Swap DS30 fibre cables?
Reseat DS30 fibre cables?

Running 9 ASM's, but do not have a spare R1T1 cartridge to duplicate in the lab. It is getting sooooooo frustrating trying to deal with older s/w and weighing that against having an otherwise good working system undergo the expense of an upgrade.
I'm gonna keep looking until I can scare up a copy of the s/w. I know there has to be one around here somewhere.

I had forgotten about this thread. Turns out, and we have all done this, we should always take the time to check each others work. Even though my partner is a super tech (which is why I never look over his shoulder) I had to grin when we were working on this in the lab with some other techs, and when we were connecting the fibres to the ASM someone said out loud "In on 1, out on 2". When he sheepishly said "Are you sure?. Oh Oh!"
Sure enough, back to the site, reverse the fibres, and Voila!, 72 ATAs.
Needless to say, no chocolate pudding for him for a whole week!!!
