I have a 8 port analog station module on a MICS rel 5. I can get the stutter dial tone to work, but I can't get visual MW to work. I am trying this with a M8314 analog phone. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what type of phone the "lamp" MW will work on?

Dumb question but..
are you sure that it is an analog module WITH MW? There are two flavors.

the book says that it will light a 2500 set with a message lamp so that is probably 90 volt nominal. it also says that a standard ASM can get stutter dial tone but not the lamp voltage.

I think ARR has it on you that you may not have the M0X8M but rather the M0X8A.

I had read in another post if you had stutter dialtone it was the module with MW. Maybe it is not. So we really have 3 scenarios:

ATA: No stutter dialtone or light
M0x8A: Stutter Dialtone Only
M0x8M: Stutter Dialtone and Light

Ewing,
As JR says the analog mod w/out MW will return stutter.
