I have electronic locks on my systems that I'm now trying to use ASA on. I keep getting timeout errors, even after increasing the timeout options. My key shows that I've been authorized, but I don't get to the login prompt because of the timeout. Any suggestions?

I went through this also and tried everything under the sun. The timeout message was deceiving to me beacause it turned out I didn't have dial in permission set on my logon and thats where the problem was. Since I have my maintenance through AVAYA it cost $84.00 to activate, not sure of the charge if you do not have maintenance through them. Also I set my modem at analog. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but I have dial in permissions. I've been using Terranova with the lock and keys, and it works fine. It's something in ASA that's giving me the problem.

I'm not sure why but we had Terranova also and when I switched to DSA I ran into that problem so I called AVAYA and had to get dial in permission, floors me! One of the ways I found out I had this problem was I did a test in hyperterminal and it would let me sign on as cust but then I would get access denied and disconnect. Thats when I called AVAYA.
