Hello All-

I have an issue with drop calls on ASA platform.

Here's the scenario...

I have an ext 602.1000 bridged on 4 other exts and when 3 out of the 4 callers answer the bridge-appearanced line and place me on HOLD, the call drops me and transfer to the primary or 602.1001 ext.

All exts have this #602.1000 on there line and can receive the call, but once placed on hold, the line drops and call gets sent to the 602.1001.

Any ideas???

thanks

Is this on an IP Office ?
When it is, why do you use 7 digit extensions ?

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

I think he has extn 602 with BrApp 1000 and BrApp 1001.

Better use Huntgroups?

7 Digits has been setup across the Network. Running-
Ch St 6021000, making change to 602.1001 placing bridge-appearance of 6021000 rings on all phones.

Customer answers, places me on hold, then the call gets dropped from that phone and appears on 602.1004.

Let me know if you need any additional details..

As for hunt-groups, sure that will work, but why does the call get dropped when placed on HOLD is the question or concern. If call is answered on the lines, placing HOLD should not drop any calls correct??

tnx

So there are 3 and 4 digit extensions in the same system ?
I would not even bother to look any further but that is my opinion.

This is the IPO forum. You need the definity forum.

ASA is the application for configuring definity and cm. Both of those systems are IPO wannabes...;)

On the definity forum is a topic about Windows 7 and all that CM junk :)

They are all confirmung that it works, Windows 7 is more then a year RTM :)
