Does anyone have any ideas on how I can emulate a wyse 50 terminal type in the ASA software. I am trying to use the ASA software to manage both a definity and an Octel voicemail server, and the terminal types that are listed in the connection properties will not work. Please Help!!!

I use Procomm Plus which has the option to select a Wyse 50 terminal type.

Hi, did you ever figure out how to ASA this under Octel?

A rep at AVAYA says that you have to go to screen 6.3 in the OCTEL system and set the emulation for WYSE 50 to VT220. Then you can select teh VT220 emulation in ASA. I still have problems with this though. I get a "2F" that pops up whenever I'm prompted for a command. Like the emulation is off a little. The rep swears that they are using VT220 as the emulation and it works great. I think there is more to it and she sin't giving out all the info. Someone, as a customer like us, has to be doing this as well. Just need more info........
