Hello Forum Members,

This is my first attempt at configuring an ASA device.
I have limited experience with the Pix 515E. I'm looking
for some experienced folks to look over my config and point
out anything that is incorrect. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. In particular, my ACLs and NAT entries.

WHAT I NEED

On my INSIDE interface my Exchange 2007 server will sit.
We only allow HTTPS access to it.

On my DMZ interface I have an FTP and Web Server. I need
to be able to allow site visitors to submit an email from
a page on the site.

I need a site-to-site VPN connection between two offices.

WHAT I'M EXPERIENCING

I have Internet connectivity from the inside.

I cannot connect via my site-to-site

I cannot get to my FTP or Web servers

I need to be able to VPN into this site. I moved a couple
servers there that people need to VPN to.

Let me say this. I am truly appreciative of all your help. Tonight I moved my Exchange server and several others and they move went flawlessly. Once I changed my MX and DNS records mail was flowing into and out of my server at the new remote site.

I owe you a debt of gratitude Uncle Rico. How can I reward you for your help?

Thanks!

No reward needed. That's why we're here; to help others out. I'm glad to have helped you out, hopefully down the line you can return the favor for someone else. That's just how we roll ;-)

As for the Remote Access VPN, I would start a new thread since this one is already 40+ posts long and cluttered.

One more question on this setup.

So my webserver (192.168.61.55) on my DMZ is configured
with the DG as 192.168.61.1. However, since it's a standalone (not on a domain) server, what do I use for DNS? I thought I could use the DNS server from my .60 because that's how I had it set up before when it was in another location. However, I can't connect to anything. I need to be able to send (relay) mail to my Exchange server (192.168.61.94) but I can't connect to it.

Thanks!

I would do this:
1) Use your ISP DNS servers for your web server. This is assuming that it does not need to resolve host names of internal clients.
2) In the SMTP virtual server add the IP address of your Exchange server into the smart host section
3) Add a new ACL allowing just SMTP access from your DMZ into your Inside network:
Code:
ASA(config)# access-list dmz_access_in extended permit tcp host 192.168.51.55 host 192.168.60.94 eq smtp
ASA(config)# access-list dmz_access_in extended permit ip any interface outside
4) Add a new static NAT statement for your DMZ server to bypass NAT:
Code:
ASA(config)# static (dmz,inside) 192.168.61.55 192.168.61.55 netmask 255.255.255.255
See how that works for you.
