AS4000 Remote printing - Only 1st page printing off

Hello

I need to set up a HP 8000 printer on the As400 over TCPIP .

I am using the following .
CRTOUTQ OUTQ(QUSRSYS/TEST2) RMTSYS(*INTNETADR) RMTPRTQ('raw') CNNTYPE(*ip) MFRTYPMDL(*WSCSTA4) WSCST(QSYS/QWPHPLSR4) INTNETADR('10.99.2.100') DESTOPT('XAIX XAUTOQ')

It does print off the first page (header with the user , host class and job but thats all .

I have also played around using the work station customisation objects also .

Has anybody experienced this before

have tried logging the spool file in qspl with 4 00 *SECLVL . AS400 says it has sentr spool file to printer .

ANYONE ANY IDEAS

OK I would aaaume from your question that the report has more than the first page in the AS400 spoolfile. Please verify that is a correct statement. Can you send the spoolfile to another printer, and get it to print correctly?

take a look in the qsysopr msgq. look for any form aligment or form change messages.

Yes the printout has more than 1 page .
It prints out perfectly on a twinax printer .

Tried that at the very start . There is absolutely nothing in the qsysopr message queue . Its very very wierd . I get a message on the AS400 job log (when i do a 4 00 *seclvl) on the job in QSPL and it does say that the spool file has been printed . At this stage It appears that the AS400 has sent it out to the printer but the printer is unavailable to print it bar the first page

OK that is really stange. What seems to be happening, is that the info. gets to the printer buffer, and then disappears. What in the wide, wide world of sports is a goin on?? You know you have connections, because you get the header page. Could the complete report be kept inside the buffer, waiting until it gets enough to print a page? I am grabbing at straws here..

As it turned out At the end of the day it wasnt an AS400 issue at all . Once the firmware was upgraded on the Printer itself the prints appeared.
