I have a 500v2 Processor w/ 6.0.14 Software. In the System Short Codes I have a code built like this

#2xx
Voicemail Collect
"#2N"

I remember the number having to be "#"2N but everytime I hit OK to make the change it reverts the code back to "#2N". Anyone seen this?

Change the code to dial. then make it "#"2N and click ok. then go back and change to VM collect.

It is a bug.. try this

The workaround is to create the code as "#"2 |“#”N | Dial.
Click OK on the form.
Then change the feature from Dial to Voicemail Collect.

Gotta be quick around here:) its not very often i get in quick enough to answer a question...

What type of phones do you have?

If you have ticked "Messages Button Goes to Visual Voice" on system > voicemail, and you have 16xx/14xx/96xx phones.
Then you can use the Message envelope on the phone itself to transfer it directly to VMail.

Also, since 6.0, I have found I've had to use:

2XX
VM Collect
""#N or #N""

Stupid. They should stop manager putting the quotes in. Pain in the arse!1

And for 56xx you could try to use a visual voice button.
So when you are on a call press the "visual voice" or the "message" button, so don't use the transfer button.

Bas1234, I have tried that on an IPO500 vs 6(18)and I couldn't get it to work like that. I had to create a VM transfer shortcode. What would cause it to not work?
