Hi all,
we've been bumping our heads about his for quite some time.
First we tried inserting an Affinity 5250 Emulation card onto an XP Machine. Emulated the display fantastically.
But printing - onto a lpt port - it would print half the page - eject the paper, and ask for another sheet of paper to finish the 2nd page - normally this is printed on only one sheet of paper.
3 different printer types - same result.
If we print from the emulation card to another printer somewhere in the company - prints great.
just to the local LPT. and anything printing to that particuliar printer session - same result.
We then - upon support assistance to get closer to DOS environment - installed an ISA BOSaNova 6481 card - installed beautifully - but same result as above again.
if printing from Windows - to the same printer - prints great. This only happens while in session mode.
Anybody have any ideas to try? we've tried altering the output settings - and what type of printer it is emulating - to the same result.
Thank you "Never underestimate the power of determination"
