ARS - Default Codes

Calls are completed okay but question is calls are going to the service provider's PRI (NI2) but why are they seeing the User Extension number in the digits sent?

Also, in the default ARS codes for 6.0.18 what is the significance of the XN; code but there is no longer a default N code?

Thanks

Goto the ARS;

Change the Number N in to NsXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXX is the number you would like to see)

That's the thing in the default Codes of ARS there is 1N and XN but no N; I will add N to the codes without s because not required by the provider.

In SW 4.x and 5.x the default ARS Codes include 1N and N but no XN

not the N in the shortcodes the N in the telephone number is the entry bas1234 meant.
you dial XN (shortcode) the system will dial NsXXXXXXXXX which means it dials the numbers you dial and then send XXXXXXX as caller ID out. You add that sXXXXXXXX to every telephone number entry in every shortcode in the ARS you would like to manipulate the caller ID for and you are good to go.

OK maybe I'm not phrasing the question well but I understand what you have indicated in the thread. My ARS Code is currently:

XN;
Number is Nsxxxxxxxxxx
Feature is Dial 3K1
Lines Group ID is 0

The problem is that the provider sees N(UserID)xxxxxxxxxx

How are they seeing the User ID and can it/does it need to be suppressed?

Change the ARS code into;

Code; N
Feat; Dial
TelN; Ns012345678 (if 012345678 is your number)
LGid; 0

It could be the the Ns needs to be Nsi

N = Number pressed
s = Send number after the s
i = send the number in international format.

In the Manager press F1 and search for "Short Code Fields and Characters"
