We have a pretty big company and suddenly we are getting calls saying that systems set to dial out are getting a message 'not necessary to dial a 1 or 0' when dialing this number'. --even though neither is being dialed.

also some which require dialing the local area code are getting a message saying you must first dial a 1 or 0.

nothing we have done has changed. any ideas what the cause may be?

so if i make changes but do not specify a location it will default to the ALL table?

ok I created a new route-pattern and assigned it to a number I was having problems with. However, any Prefix MRK I changed it to from 1-4 gave me the same error.

I added insert digits=1 and it worked.

clearly this is just a temporary fix and I am still unsure what the correct way to fix it as well as the others.

Also, should I have added the number to the local ARS or the main one?
