Hi There

Trying to set up a new ars using 660. I have one set up for 550 which works - I've copied the settings from 550. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Cheers Dave R

First example below works = 550

Are the 550 and 660 local calls? I see 550 goes out Route Pattern 7 preference 1 which is trunk group 5 and 660 goes to Route Pattern 1 preference 1 trunk group 1. So not knowing which trunk groups are what and what traffic they carry it may be hard to help you out. Can you supply what trunks you have and maybe cut a past a picture of the ARS Analysis table would help.

Hi Koglass

At the moment 550 goes out on 90 channels trunk 5.

I need 660 to go out on trunk 1 as this is a different campaign.

I don't understand the preference is or how to set that.

So what do you hear or get when you dial the 660 number. A recording, Re-order tone, dead air, etc.? Can you dial the 660 number from a cell phone and complete the call?

Hi there

If i dial 9550 then the number its fine
If I dial 9660 then the number - i get a voice which states the number you have dialled has not been recognised.

Below ars settings

ARS DIGIT ANALYSIS TABLE
Location: all Percent Full: 1

Dialed Total Route Call Node ANI
String Min Max Pattern Type Num Reqd
550 9 14 7 pubu n
6 5 7 p3 pubu n
660 9 14 1 pubu n
7 5 7 p3 pubu n
8 5 7 p3 pubu n
9 5 7 p3 pubu n
9118 4 4 deny pubu n
9118118 7 7 deny pubu n

Hi There

It's the same response whether it's a land line or a cell phone.

Cheers

Sounds to me like your network provider could have an issue or maybe the number is not active. Check with your network provider and see what they have to say.

based on your post of the ars table... looks like 550 goes to route pattern 7 and 660 goes to reoute pattern 1...

did you create route pattern 1 to be the same as route 7? or did you want both to use poute 7?

post both route patterns...

Hi there

First thanks for all the help.

Basically we have a new client coming on board and I want calls to go via trunk 1 so I can present a different CLI.

550 rt pt 7 then trunk 5
660 rt pt 1 then trunk 1

Thats what I'm trying to achieve.

Cheers Dave R

It looks like your config is correct but the number you are dialling is incorrect due to the fact you get the same message when dialling from the cell

Try a different 660 number

Hi there

Update

I've sorted the problem it was down to a config setting in the route pattern.

550 went through route pattern 7 and the number of delete digits were set to 3

660 was going through route pattern 1 and the number of delete digits was set to 0

I've created a new route pattern and have the digits set to 3

IT WORKS - wahoo
