What are limititations in array length (number of elements) in CA Clipper 5.2e?

Remember, each array element can contain an array, ie. nested arrays, so the possibilities are much greater than 4096.

It is true that one can nest arrays. I've never had to nest more than three or four deep. They really gobble memory!

You could always use temporary tables to be arrays, these have the advantage of being virtually limitless.

All you need is to have two or more fields providing the x and y co-ords (for example) and somewhere to store the right value. You would need to right your own versions of
AFILL ASEEK etc...

Just a thought
