Hi !

We have two proliant 1600 server's.
One "primary" with 5 harddisk's and one "secondary" for backup without any
harddisk's.

The backup server is not starting up "with hd" becouse the arraycard 2SL has
no array config anymore.

We do not wan't to move the two prom's from our primary server array card to
the backup server card.

Is there any way to backup the array config and restore it ?

Or any other sugestion, please ?

Regards Jan Rockstedt

I've been through this with a 3200. It might work with the older cards. Essentially put the disks in one at a time, with a reboot between each. The card picks up the configuration as you go. Erroring on each boot about how there are disks misssing. When all disks are in its just like the old box.
I learned the trick because of a battery failure.
