Hi

I've got half a dozen PC's running 98SE and one of them won't save it's folder view settings. If you open a folder and change the view to "arrange by name" and then close the folder it loses the settings when you re-open it. What I'm trying to achieve is all the folders on this PC to be "arranged by name" all the time, as they are on the other PC's. I've tried copying the settings from the other PC's but it doesn't seem to work on this one.

Regards

Frank

Well-publicized tweak has it that you go to Explorer, setting the settings you desire, clicking on view, folder options and view tab, clicking the Like Current Folder button, OK and holding down the control key while clicking the X to close the Explorer.
Guess that doesn't work?

Thanks - that sorted the problem out. I haven't come across that fix before.
