Hi,
I got an IPCom videoTransmitter on 192.168.0.252 and a windows 2000 computer on 192.168.0.1.
As I got problem connecting with it i have been a little further in the packet it sends and see that there is an ARP message looking like this (ethereal prompt):

ARP who has 192.168.0.252 ? tell 192.168.0.252

coming every 30sec..

I was wondering why there is no answer to this simple request..

Can you help me find out better what happens ?

Thanks a lot
Pierre Mallard

Point the default Gateway of the device to 192.168.0.1.

Hi and thanks but it's what I did and messages are still the same... but I'm not sure I got a gateway running on my machine.

I am not running an arp server or anything so maybe it's normal that my system doesn't respond..

What do I need to make things works?
Thx again
cao
Pierre
