Hi everybody!

I'm planning to format my HDD, but I would like to save my messages from Outlook Express 5.5. So that when I install the new OS, to import them.

I clicked on Export MEssages and the dialog box is telling me that I can export only in Outlook, or Exchange. I don't want to use this two, I would like to still use OE.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

There's a number of ways you can do it, durug. Either save all your .dbx files to a floppy/floppies/CD-R (depending on their size and your hardware), they (your .dbx files) can be found in the store folder. To find your store folder, in OE, click Tools/Options/Maintenance tab/Store Folder button. After re-installation, copy the .dbx files to the new store folder. Or, download the program from it'll do it all for you. It'll also backup your address book and favourites folder. My advice would be to do both, just to be sure to be sure.
