I'm creating an add-in with a set of engineering functions. But since the units on the numbers (like kilograms and square millimeters) are critical, I need to add "help tips" to the function wizard pop-up box for the function and each argument. How?!

Have a look at the MacroOptions Method help in VBA.

This method allows you add a description to macros and functions, and also to specify a help file etc.

Thanks.

I read on another forum that supposedly you can only supply argument-specific tips in the function wizard pop-up box if you write your functions in C++ and compile them into an .XLL file rather than a VBA-based .XLA file.
