I heavily use the Edit > Go To > Visible Cells Only option in Excel 2003 and previous versions. For the very life of me, I can't find that feature in 2007.

Our office was forced to update as a company standard, this learning curve is just frustrating me to NO END!

Please help! I tried the HELP FILE but that does not seem to explain it either... they talk about "go to" but they don't tell you where the function is.

Another thing... "LISTS" I used to go to Insert > Define Name > Lists and create lists for data validation but I can't find that either....

Thanks in advance....

A star for both Bandenjamin and Skip. Those links are wonderful.

Cheers.

Can anybody with a US keyboard tell me whether the Ctrl+~ option works over there? That's what it says on the tipcard.

Over here in the UK it's Ctrl+` ( that's left single quote - to the left of the "1" on the top row of the keyboard ).

Just curious. Both links are super ... have passed them on to my cow-orkers already.

Cheers, Glenn.

Did you hear about the literalist show-jumper? He broke his nose jumping against the clock.

Glenn,

It's [Ctrl]+[`] over here as well. But, at least on a US keyboard, the [~] is on the same key as the [`].

I've often heard of that shortcut referred to as "Control Tilde" even though you don't press [Shift] to actually access the "tilde" instead of the "left single quote". That's probably just because "Control Left Single Quote" is a bit unwieldy.

Of course, that doesn't explain why I see people writing it that way.

Ah, I see, thanks John.

Over here the tilde is a shift of the hash key, just to the left of Enter ( nowhere near the top-left of the keyboard ). Which obviously is no good to tell someone for toggle values/formulae.

Cheers, Glenn.
