I heavily use the Edit > Go To > Visible Cells Only option in Excel 2003 and previous versions. For the very life of me, I can't find that feature in 2007.

Our office was forced to update as a company standard, this learning curve is just frustrating me to NO END!

Please help! I tried the HELP FILE but that does not seem to explain it either... they talk about "go to" but they don't tell you where the function is.

Another thing... "LISTS" I used to go to Insert > Define Name > Lists and create lists for data validation but I can't find that either....

Thanks in advance....

L,

Wasn't it Lucy that uttered, "ARGH!" ;-)

Skip,

Nope... ME... Laurie... ARGH! And not in a pirate sort of way, in a "I don't need MORE GREY HAIR" Sort of way!! Thanks to Bandenjamin for the link to the online tutorials, when I have "time" I will definately check it out.

SKIP!!! AS ALWAYS you are such a Godsend! I LOVE YOU for this link... this "reference card" is JUST what I need in a PINCH.... I realize you may not have written it (or maybe, you guru, you did) :) but I am SO THANKFUL for the link!

I immediately printed out a copy for me and one for each of my two upper management bosses because we all utilize the dog... out of Excel. They were pleased as well. So I would give you 3 stars if I could but alas I can only do one... but you really deserve a BAZILLION for this treasure....

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Hey Skip....

By any chance do you know of there are similar images for Word, Access and PPT?

Access, which I am not real fluent on...I've created databases but they are basically one big table with many forms and ASP pages created to show that data....

PPT is the effective way for us to report to HQ information because pictures speak a thousand words...

Word... well Word "is" the app used for Outlook and all communication in between :)

Thanks in advance... my new best friend!! :)

LadyCk3,

Those aren't tutorials. Its like a backward compatible virtual machine. If you have a task that you want to perform in Office 2007 that you know how to do in 2003, you do pull that up, it gives you a 2003 interface then you do the task, it will then show you how to do the same thing in 2007. I pretty much keep one open almost all the time so I can quickly do old tasks. After a couple times it sinks in pretty quick :D

Star for both.

VERY useful info

Laurie,

F5 will take you to GoTo in either Excel or Word.

Also, in the Name Box, you can enter a range reference OR a Named Range, and it will "fly" you there in an instant.

So...

if you had a Range Name of The_Moon...

I love this, I wish I could give you a bazillion stars!!!
