Argent Branch TFTP problem

Recently an Argent Branch site has been having problems where the LAN port shows constant traffic and VM and phone manager will not function at all, like there is too much traffic hitting the Argent for it to cope with, maybe this is related to the recent virus explosions, any one experienced???

I suspect your Virus diagnosis may be correct
What port is beein accessed on the argent?

The Nimbda Virus used to attack port 80 & when this 1st appeared it would cause an index CPU to repeatedly crash, if this crash happens at the wrron time it could corrupt the cassette firmware.

I believe the current Blaster Virus uses port 134

I have had this before on an IPO. I was due to broadcast storms on the network. May be worth setting up a VLan for the Alchemy and apps.

can anyone tell me how to check an argent pots 30 i have a constant red light, and when connected to hyper terminal via
the serial port i get this message "polling failed"

any answers would be a help
