Hi All,

I've been studying my sybex & both MS Press books for the 70-271 & 70-272. Also have a little mini lab at home. Should that be sufficient for those tests or should I invest in the transcender bundle pak? Thanks!

Sybex used to supply a practice exam with the books. I was able to pass all of the NT MCSE exams using those as a base.

If you feel comfortable with your knowledge of the subject matter, I would say skip the expense. You can also register thru Microsoft for a FREE 2nd chance exam if you blow it.
(Limited time).

When are you taking the exams? I got a freebie and will be taking both 271 and 272 on April 4 and would be happy to inform you of their difficulty.

I'm looking to take the test early May. Just to be really prepared.

My best advice:

Make sure you understand the question before looking at the answers.
If you immediately know the answer and its in the list, read the question again, watch the wording in the question carefully. Take your time with each question, and try not to worry about running out of time.

BTW - I think you'll pass with no problem.

Kimber put together a very good FAQ, check it out here:

Hey, TestGurus.net has REAL cheap exams for auction on ebay.

You can also get questions emailed to you every day, with the answers (and a new question) the next day. They are pretty easy questions, very brief, MS likes to throw too much info at you, then let you sort it out as to what's relevant and whats not.

Hope this helps.
