Does anyone know if this app is popular in the states? John

We are looking at it as a possible solution for our branches throughout the US. I look forward to seeing what kind of posts come up.

We are going through a trial process now, and will be implementing our branch locations (16 total; all in Texas) beginning in December. I'm attending a VoIP class now at our local Avaya sales office, and will be winging it for a while. The timing couldn't be better for adding this forum to TT!

I've installed three now, no major problems. I'm waiting for the 1.3 release to come out before I lay final judgement on the system however...

I Have installed 2 without any major problems. However there are quite a few little nuances that are being worked
out hopefully with the new release. In the process of installing three more connected together they will be in 3 different states i will keep you posted on the progress.

Hi all

I have just trained in IP Office and think this forum could be very useful.
I still have to install my firt one ;-)

We are in the process of installing 16 of these with most of the bells and whistles turned on. We will be networking these sites with VoFR. We have had a lot of success installing the Definity platforms in this environment. We have installed 3 so far with no major gliches. I will keep the forum posted as to the progress.

I've installed six so far, including VM Pro...

It isn't a Definity for sure, it isn't as good as a Magix, although it is easier to program...

It lacks coverage paths, etc...

Voice mail install is very easy, but not as flexible in features...

It's hard to categorize...

Needs lots of improvement yet...

We HAD one, but had our vendor remove it. All the features listed on paper end up being buggy or vaporware stuff that'll be available in the "next update".

We had them replace it with a Magix..

fonedoc, how has your recent installed mentioned on 11/20 gone??? We are interested in selling this product in our market and are in the info gathering stage. Any info you can provide is greatly appreciated. Links, personal experience, etc. thanks, bill.

CCISales:

We have had some unusal issues. We have worked through most of them however tommorrow will be the test as we are upgrading the systems to 1.30.xx. There have been a few disappointments and a few things that were easier than expected. (Networking sites together was a piece of cake!) I'll let you know further in the next week or so. If you would like to send me your contact info we can chat real time!

We have installed 9 of these most of them on the small end (under 40 stations) that have all gone well. However we just finished an 85 station install with the new 1.3 load that went very smooth. It included Vm Pro with the integrated messaging. There were a few little work arounds but nothing big. If you wanted details on the little issues let me know.

We've installed quite a few of these (over 12 at least) and are installing new sites almost biweekly. We have installed numerous 50+ seat IP Offices, and a few with full functioning call centers (with CCC), as well as Multisite networked IP Offices, IP Hardphones, IP Softphones, etc.
One thing that really determines how successfull the product works is by the competency of the programmer and installers. Also since it is still relatively new, may intergrator lack experience and are installing misconfigured systems.

The great thing is that it is simple to learn and customize, so if you have a custom application or need, there is almost always a way to come up with a solution to it and sometimes you may even have a few alteratives.

We have even done a migration of an office of 60+ users from a Definity to an IP Office, and thanks to the ability to use 64XX sets on the IP Office and the Intuity interface on the Voicemail Pro, we did this on a Friday evening with very little user training and great satification as we programmed the system to mimic their Definity.

PS. 1.3 did help with some issues we had, such as dial-by-name, and ON/OFF buttons. Thank you,
Frank Mirecki

We have installed 6 or so for customers and have now migrated to it ourselves. I really like it so far.

We have over 120 sites in uk & very few problems
(1 site awaiting firmware upgrades due to CCC issues)
