Our office is getting some fresh paint and carpet and we were hoping to get some new telephones. Is is possible to replace a few m7208's and m7310's with t7208's and t7316's?

Yes they are compatible. But on the T7316 and T7316E there may be diffences on the button mapping. depending on the version software on your system.

Sincerely, thephoneboy

Thank you for the information. The new paint and carpet is in and we will be looking to get some of the T series phones very soon.

Shartline:

Also, depending on your software version, the T7316 will be reconized and acts as a 7310 and therefore some buttons will not function. I believe 6.0 and up fully supportes the T7316.

What chance do I have running T7316s on an 8x24 DR5.1 ? Wouldn't hurt to try and get some brownie points from our accounting department ;^)

I have a customer with 8x24 DR5.1 who is running a mix of M7310's T7316's with no problems.
Be carefull tho, like they said the system see's the T7316's as M7310 and the button maping is different.
