Hi,
I've seen this asked before, but never a real answer.
We have a T1 from IPC for Ringdowns there will be at least 9 delivered over the "T"
running IPO ver 9.
When we work with IPC they Say we are sending reverse signaling.
we go off hook and they see all 1's,
we go on hook and they see all 0's

We need to put them on a 9640 with a 24 button module so the traders can just push the button to call or answer.

has any one gotten this to work ? If you did could you share your setup.
thanks
Jeff

hopefully will be testing soon, we also need to do this. I will let you know if we find anything.

Spent hours and hours with IPC on this several months ago. Exact same issue.

Final outcome: ip office does not support ARD. We went to analog trunks for the ARD.

Btw: IPC support was horrid.

So how did you configure the IPO. We may have to do the same.
did they end up putting a channel bank in ?
How did you get them to work off a single button ?
we even have Avaya tier 4 support working on it and they haven't come up with anything !!
So ANY Help would be appreciated.

Yea we found IPC support not helpful either.

Jeff,

Have IPC provide the ARD as a copper trunk. Then connect to an unused co port on the ip office.

On whatever user extensions that need the ARD, put the corresponding line appearance on their phone.

we went analog, but are getting one way audio when we call them, when they call us it works fine?? the port works fine when I set it to a regular pots line. I am going to try and swap out card but not sure that will fix it.

we have same config with rel 8 working fine, but this site is 8.1 . .every release new issuessss

Yes, simple fix.
Are you using line appearance buttons? Or short codes on the phone?

Temporary work around, have the side with one way audio press any dtmf as the call sets up.

I'll give you exact fix once you confirm your setup.

has anyone found out how to fix this, I have line app's on user phone to get the calls but also have a short code to dial them because you cant break dial tone anymore. they can also press the any button after dialing the line but they didn't like that. has any changed in 9.0.5? or maybe 9.1 will be a charm!!! it seems to change each release
