Just to let you know. If anyone else is using ARD (PLAR) ring down ckts the latest revision of software takes care of any issues from 6.0.8. Installed 6.0.14 Saved my ass on this one Avaya thanks
I have several IP office systems out there that are working fine since I have installed .14 Also to get the CKT to ring in immediate take of the caller id control and works like a charm
Nice. Do you have it set up with analog lines or a T1? I have a deployment coming up with an IPC T1 coming directly into the IP Office, No turrets. This is the 1st time we will be programming something like this and the techs are asking me about PLAR signalling. I couldn't find anything in the documentation about how I should provision the T1 in manager, do you have any insight? Thanks so much for your help.
We have them set up through IPC also. (No turrets) 9650 IP sets and 5620 Dig sets They are coming off IPC channel bank and then we have them terminating into analog trunks on our end. Incoming call routes to hunt groups to phones. No problems what so ever. I believe in the near future we will try dumping them into a T1 and see how that works. Let me know how you make out with that. I am very interesetd. There is no documentation anywhere on this. The issue we had was that when the customer hit the button it would not go off hook untill they hit another key to start the call but the clients side would start ringing immediately and there was a delay in connecting the call
Thanks for your help. I will let you know what happens. The customer may decide to go the channel bank way as they are under the gun to get this going. I will try to convince them at least do some testing. But you know how traders are.
