ArcserveIT 6.6 for Netware giving media problems

Arcserve has been running now for 1 year and yet I still continuously get Media errors when it comes to comparing the backed up data. The strange thing is I rotate my tapes every week and one week a Monday backup will be green but the following week with the same tape I get a media problem. This isn't just on 1 tape and I have even tried new tapes with similar problems, has anyone got any suggestions?

Actually i also got media problem when i doing backup.<br>After i backup few directories that i choosed. When i try to restore to server then i can't view the individual files.<br><br>I choose Media View for Restore.<br>I have choosed (show all files in directory ) from Option.<br><br>However, i still can't view all my directories and files. it only show me a single file.<br>Did you have facing this problem before?<br>May i know how do you do the backup setting?<br>Can you view all the files from your tape before you doing restore?<br><br>I would be appreciated if you could reply my question via this e-mail. <A HREF="mailto:lim_benedict@hotmail.com">lim_benedict@hotmail.com</A><br><br>Thank You very Much.<br><br>Thanks & Regards,<br>Benedict Lim <br>

ArcserveIT 6.6 service pack 4 has finally sorted out our problems it took 4 weeks on the phone to computer associates and 3 service packs later we finally have a stable backup system. This just shows what you get if you don't ever give up!!!

if you buy supported hardware then the backups might work.&nbsp;&nbsp;ppl who work on this help desk cannot stand muppet customers who blame the software.&nbsp;&nbsp;There is nothing wrong with arcserve, its just a problem with the person using it
