Arcserve2000 and File System Devices

I am trying to use File System Devices for a backup to disk option in a Remote Win2k Server and Arcserve20000 yet, I can't seem to find any information about it, the Administrator Guide has no information about it.
Found a document on how to create it, followed instructions, but when doing a test backup job i am getting the message of unable to find media.... what media? if i am using a disk?

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't use media pools in the job, and anything to do with WinXP or Win2003 won't work, was never supported either for the host software, or for a remote FSD.

Also make sure ARCserve 2000 is patched up to SP5 (Build 1110).

Thank you for your reply. I did use that document to create the FDS. I wasnt able to bakcup for I was using a remote drive on another server, when I created the FDS in the local disk, it did do a backup.

Now, I tried creating several FDS, and I tried running a bakcup job for each FDS, but I see that the data gets backed up only in the first folder I created, the other 2 only have a very small file, is this normal?

It means that the other FSDs are not being used - did you put all of the FSDs you created in the same device group?

I'm not sure AS2000 even supported spanning with FSDs in that version.

Are you patched up as I mentioned in my last post?
