arcserve ver 7 2000

Hi

I am running wondows 2000 server and arcserve 7 biuld 1018
I am currenly running a backup routine that backs up our sql database these file are closed files that sql server makes *.bak. However when I try to restore these files it only leaves the directory and not the files is there any patches I need for arcserve that will allow me to restore these files?

Have you tried merging the tape? Maybe the files aren't cataloged? I ran 2000 for years and never had any problems. I don't recall the build numbers, but I do recall there was an SP4. Have you installed that?

no I dont have sp4 install do you know where I can get it have tried arcserve web site they seem not to support this product anymore
