ARCserve v9 copy jobs

I've been trying to run some ARCserve copy jobs to move data between servers and retain NTFS permissions but despite ticking the copy NTFS permissions option it still loses them, any ideas?

I used to do this fine under ARCserve v6.61 and v2000

Does the user exist at the target?

Yeah most of the rights are to global groups and the destination server is on the same domain as the source.

I've tried create directoris from base and create entire path from root as well now with the same result - all permissions get reset to those of the root drive.

It's not a huge hassle as I can run xcopy /t /e /o after to regen the permissions - just a bit of a pain.

yeah this got fixed in one of the later service packs, I guess you guys have checked the copy options - it works fine for me!
