I'm running ArcServe R12 and backing up a SQL Server using the ArcServe R11.5 SQL Agent. Recently, ArcServe started failing when backing up only one of the SQL Databases on that particular server. The error I am receiving is:
>>>>>>>>
PM E8604 Failed to start backup. (DBNAME=SCCM_RH1, EC=RH1-SQL:[SQL Server] szSqlState = 37000,fNativeError = 3035, errMsg = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot perform a differential backup for database "SCCM_RH1", because a current database backup does not exist. Perform a full database backup by reissuing BACKUP DATABASE, omitting the WITH DIFFERENTIAL option. )
>>>>>>>
The odd thing is, the backup will complete successfully on Fridays when the full backups are performed, but the differentials won't complete for some reason. Has anyone ever seen this error?
Thanks,
Sean
