Arcserve SCSI errors

Does anyone know why just out of the Blue we get an error like this. We get this error randomley on different servers that have thier own Tape devices.

E6300 07/13/2006 04:38:27 PM 5000 Windows NT SCSI PORT Error.

There are a lot of things that can cause SCSI errors.

Do they cause the job to fail?
Do they show up in the Event Viewer System log?
Update the SCSI controller driver.

Yes all the jobs Failed, could not rven Inventory tapes.
I was sure the SCSI driver was up to date but I will check it.
