Windows 2000 ver5 svpc3. server running Arcserve2000 ver.7 build 1100.
Running an Exabyte x200 with 80 slots and 3 drives the initial inventory takes 40 minutes to an hour. Upon completion I find I have to go back and inventory 10-12 slots at a time to completion. If I don't do the second inventory tapes aren't always recognized.
I'd appreciate any suggestions that will help to resolve this slow and painful condition. thx
