I have both Arcserve 6.6 and 7 loaded on two database servers. I need to initiate a search for files and have very limited information as to file locations and names. My question is are there any utilities that will allow me to query the arcserve database.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Not so sure about Arcserve v6.6 but in Arserve v7 open Arcserve manager then hit 'Restore' (but not the restore wizard). Once the restore wizard is open I think but default the 'Restore by Tree' window is open. Use the down arrow to change this to 'Query' then you should be able to search by file or directory.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, it is greatly appreciated.
