I'm new to Arcserve (11.1), and the problem is that (although I have checked the "detailed info" option), I first need to restore the tape before I can access any particular data I might need. This takes forever... How could I get it back to working as it used to, when it gave me all the info first and then I could check the stuff I needed? It gradually went down, first it indexed the whole lot, then just a few root index, and then now it's down to three...

We got more than 30% storage space, there is definitively enough space (well beyond the required 10%). Oh, and before I forget, it's Novell (but that can't be the problem)...

Has anybody seen or struggled with this one before? What am I doing wrong? :)

Thanks! :)

Hi buddy,

This should be becos of ur arcserve database.Chk the size of it

Fetch a blank database from CA support and replace it

Merge the data from the tape header to the new database

that should work
