Hello all,
Seems I might have a problem with my Arcserve Database, it looks corrupt. When I try to prune the database or erase tapes, RDS.EXE goes to 99% in task manager, only way to stop it is to stop the Arcserve Database Service.
I repaired all database yesterday using dbmgr, but ran into the same problem this morning.
So my question is how do I actually recover from this. I have thought about reinstalling from scratch.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

1) Delete *.* files in the Temp folder under arcserve.
2) Delete R*.* files in the database folder under arcserve.

Restart the database engine and it shoulf fix the problem...

Or let me know i will send a copy of blank database and you can replace the database ...

arcserve version ???
service pack on arcserve ???
OS???

Tell me the Database type under database manager / database type ...

DatabaseBaba...

you can just delete the files in the database folder,
than just copy the files from the emptydb folder
into the database folder...then restart.
