ArcServe crash without any given reason..

Our Arcserve v11.1 has recently began crash randomly during the backup process. There is no any specific reason for crashes, sometimes it will backup whole the drive, sometimes it backups C: drive, sometimes C and D, and sometimes nothing. What could cause this problem?

Also, is there anyway to get Arcserve backup our system state? At the moment our system state backup fails always, because arcserve tries to backup file, which changes it name whole the time. I have tried to exclude directory where that file is located, but so far without any luck..

We use ArcServe v11.1 without sp1 and Exabytes VXA tapedrive.

After ARCserve has been updated if it is still having a problem then put the Job Engine in debug mode.

If you recently applied SP1 for 2003 (if thats what your using) only select the indidvidual server components NOT THE ENTIRE SERVER. This will crash the job.
